The second of a two part talk given by Peter Desbarats at a Faculty of Information and Media Studies (FIMS) on Oct. 24, 2007 (University of Western Ontario). In it, Desbaratas addresses the unique role played by journalists in war and the war against terror. His remarks feature a critique of the news media’s coverage of contemporary wars and he compares the responsibilities of journalists to those of library and media studies scholars.
