Our story follows her journey from a childhood in Russian-occupied Poland, where a physical disability forged a will of steel, to her escape across borders and her rise as the sharpest mind in the German Social Democratic Party. We examine her complex relationship with Leo Jogiches, her fearless theoretical battles against the titans of socialism, and the years spent in prison where she found solace in painting flowers and listening to songbirds. Finally, we confront the tragic climax of the German Revolution, where “Red Rosa” paid the ultimate price for her belief that freedom is always the freedom of the one who thinks differently.
