COVID vaccine safety: What you need to know…
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many people have questioned whether the vaccines were actually safe. Skeptics have theorized that the vaccines altered DNA to make humans genetically modifiable; however, there is no evidence to support the claim. Another theory involved the vaccines being used as a front to implant microchips into humans, allowing the government to track the population. The rumor stems from a Bill Gates interview where the billionaire discussed a vaccine database; however, there was no mention of microchips. Gates was also subject to false accusations that he said 700,000 people would die from the vaccines. Many have scrutinized how quickly the vaccines were produced, which can be attributed to existing coronavirus knowledge and unprecedented funding. In reality, COVID-19 vaccines were subject to rigorous testing before distribution, which included multiple trials involving tens of thousands of volunteers.
